No field is coherent if it destroys the vessel carrying it.
Ethical Law is the containment layer of the Codex. It limits every equation, every practice, every claim, and every system. A method does not become acceptable merely because it is elegant, powerful, profitable, or internally consistent.

An action a in context c may continue only while consent, dignity, truthfulness, proportionality, responsibility, and a usable stop condition remain present. If any required condition fails, the gate closes; coherence, elegance, urgency, or claimed benefit does not override it.
Core Laws
Participation is informed, specific, reversible, and free from covert pressure. “No” and “stop” are complete instructions.
A person is never reduced to an input, audience, diagnosis, target, conversion, or proof object.
Observation, interpretation, symbolic meaning, hypothesis, and established evidence remain clearly labeled.
The intensity, duration, data collected, and claims made remain proportionate to the stated purpose and actual evidence.
Operators preserve provenance, disclose limits, correct errors, and remain answerable for foreseeable consequences.
Every practice has an immediate exit. Harm, coercion, distress, or unreliable conditions trigger pause, review, and repair.
Preflight and Review
The audit does not certify an action as harmless. It creates a reviewable minimum and keeps the burden of justification with the person proposing the action.
