The Person Behind the Work
Who I Am
I am an author, working flooring mechanic, craftsman, father, independent researcher, artifact maker, and systems builder. Much of my working life is spent with tools and materials—measuring, preparing, cutting, fitting, correcting, repairing, and finishing. Physical trade teaches a direct lesson: the visible surface is never the entire structure.
A finished floor depends on what was prepared beneath it. A family conflict is more than its final argument. A website is more than its homepage. An artifact is more than its appearance. A living system must account for foundations, sequence, limits, relationships, maintenance, responsibility, and return.
My first two published books preserve different sides of the work. The Codex of Reality presents the developing framework. Still Becoming preserves the lived path behind it: fatherhood, labor, faith, relationships, courts, housing instability, creativity, spiritual searching, technology, copper craft, documentation, survival, and the effort to keep building while unfinished.
The larger archive has grown through journals, photography, scripture study, symbolic language, digital art, experimental game concepts, handmade artifacts, website development, calendar architecture, field observations, and practical invention under pressure. What once looked scattered gradually revealed itself as one connected body of work.
The philosophy became the Codex. The writings became the Scroll. The observations became the Witness System. The study of time became The 13 Moons Remnant Living Time Observatory. Copper work became Living Technology and the Artifact Registry. Family resilience and mobility planning became the Covenant Caravan.
Lived Experience as Method
Built From Inside the Conditions It Examines
My life is not a decorative backstory attached to the Codex. It is part of the testing ground. The work developed inside labor, parenthood, uncertainty, institutional conflict, limited resources, creative pressure, and the repeated need to repair what did not hold.
Physical Truth
Trade work trains attention through measurement, material limits, preparation, sequence, gravity, failure, and repair. A structure either holds or reveals where it does not.
Fatherhood and Responsibility
The work is constrained by responsibility to children, family, and the future. A useful system must function for real people living through uncertainty, not only for its creator.
Building Under Pressure
Housing instability and material pressure taught me to distinguish appearance from capacity, theory from practical use, and symbolic comfort from what actually helps someone endure and move forward.
Documentation
Writing, photography, recordings, code, artifacts, timelines, and structured logs preserve what memory alone cannot reliably hold.
Iteration
Projects are used, broken, examined, revised, and returned to use. The public archive records development rather than pretending every version was final.
Human Dignity
Instability does not erase intelligence, ability, parenthood, creativity, or worth. Resilience should not require dehumanizing the people who need it.
I am not building the Codex because I believe the work is finished. I am building it because the work is still alive. Each page, artifact, cycle, and witness is part of an attempt to understand how meaning moves through a real human life—and how that understanding can be made useful, visible, testable, and shareable.

I work independently through documented observation, historical and scriptural study, comparative models, experimental interfaces, physical construction, and lived practice. I do not present myself as a perfected teacher, institutional scientist, or final authority.

The 13 Moons Remnant Living Time Observatory is not merely an alternative calendar. Its Hybrid A architecture separates a stable human pattern from the changing astronomical sky, allowing their convergence and divergence to be observed rather than forced into artificial agreement.
Pattern Calendar
Thirteen equal moons of 28 days create a stable 364-day pattern, followed by a Day Out of Time and an additional out-of-week intercalary day in leap years.
Continuous Week
The seven-day rhythm continues through the Year Gate rather than being reset by intercalary days.
Alignment Ledger
Equinoxes, solstices, lunar phases, moonrise, moonset, horizon positions, and other astronomical events are recorded independently.
Field Layers
