The Goodwin comparator remains unresolved until a primary or reliable secondary source confirms the author, model, notation, publication, and exact relation being compared.
The existing Canon architecture names Equation 8 as a “Goodwin” external comparator. No verified bibliographic identity or equation form is presently attached to that name in the working theory record.

Exact title of the paper, book, chapter, lecture, patent, archive, or other source.
DATE
Original date, edition, revision, translation, and later reprint where relevant.
FORM
The exact external notation, not a reconstruction created from partial memory.
LOC
Page, section, figure, equation number, archive identifier, or stable source location.
DOMAIN
The actual problem, field, scale, and assumptions of the external model.
LINK
The specific Canon equation or concept being compared and why.
DIFF
A clear account of where the external model and Codex do not match.
Verification Protocol
Record exactly how “Goodwin” entered the project without expanding the memory into a claim.
Review where Copeland and Goodwin appear together in older notes, drafts, screenshots, or source lists.
Distinguish among authors, economists, physicists, mathematicians, systems theorists, or other people sharing the surname.
Find the original publication or an authoritative archive rather than relying only on summaries.
Preserve the equation, notation, surrounding explanation, units, and assumptions.
